The Last two days I worked parallel on three pain
Cut chewing and grazing,
curious and alert,
and then spooked.
Sometimes I wasn’t sure about the lighting, to fix this problem a clay model worked quite well.
In between sketched some little versions on parchement paper.
The next day I stayed put at my desk and painted and re-painted different bison scenes.
Quick colour studies done the same way as the sketches, walking with the herd.
Preliminary sketches to capture the movement and shape of the Bison.
These where done while I was walking parallel to the grazing Bison and sketching at the same time.
