Clive Thompson on Analog Designs in the Digital Age
In diesem Artikel (Wired Magazine, Februar 2012) schreibt Thompson über “Skeuomorphs” (“(…) bits of design that are based on old-fashioned, physical objects.”) und wie man diese Form am besten anwenden sollte. “Unless we start weaving ourselves off them, we’ll fail to produce digital tools that harness what computers can do best.” Und am Ende des Artikels formuliert er es so: “Let paper work like paper and screens like screens.”
