Sunday. Looking over the urban landscape, wannabe superheroes are hoping for an alien spaceship to invade Switzerland and give them something to do with their free time.
As part of the duo show by Saehan Parc and Thilda Bourqui at Halmet, curated by Sophie Nadler and Etienne Eisele, a small performance is set to take place during the vernissage. The performers are casually lingering around the exterior of the building, while the guests linger inside, looking at the show. Both operate according to scores, pre-set gestures, and personal missions. Collection (intervention) brings together a series of costumes designed by Thilda Bourqui for various projects realized over the past two years, while experimenting with the activation of existing exhibitions through performative elements and the dramatization of the everyday.
The intervention invites the audience to look at the show while staying alert for a potential invasion. Come on Sunday, the 8th of March, from 17:00 onward, at Halmet (Dörflistrasse 67, 8050 Zürich-Oerlikon). Warm food and drinks.
