A performative event in which guests enter into an enclosed space to engage in a 1 on 1 role-play with a virtual bar keeper through a screen. The setting is a mushroom world which has its roots in the artist’s family ritual of mushroom foraging. The original idea of holding a conversation with a virtual avatar instead of in person or the actual camera emerged from the idea of social awkwardness and a way for introverts to partake in socializing. This allows more room for playfulness and emotions displayed by the avatar whilst staying anonymous. The barrier between reality and virtual reality will be broken by an actual drink being served through a box.
