Nanna L\u00fcth hat diese neue Ausgabe von Art Education Research zusammengestellt, die sich, unter dem Eindruck der j\u00fcngsten politischen Entwicklungen in Europa \u2013 dem Erstarken rechter Parteien und der Zunahme von \u00abIdeologien der Ungleichwertigkeit\u00bb (Heinrich B\u00f6ll Stiftung 2016) – den Herausforderungen von rassismuskritisch positionierter Arbeit in Kunst und Vermittlung widmet. A<\/strong>\u00ef<\/strong>cha<\/strong> Diallo und Danja Erni<\/strong>, die seit Sommer 2016 gemeinsam die KontextSchule,<\/em> eine Fortbildung f\u00fcr Berliner Lehrer*innen und K\u00fcnstler*innen leiten, reflektieren \u00fcber den Prozess, eine diskriminierungskritische Ausrichtung in der KontextSchule umzusetzen. Ausgehend von den eigenen \u00abBildern im Kopf\u00bb skizzieren sie Utopien und Erfolge, aber auch die Grenzen, Verletzbarkeiten und das \u00abStolpern im Lernprozess\u00bb. Auch Nana Adusei-Poku<\/strong> widmet sich in \u00abAlle m\u00fcssen alles lernen, oder emotionale Arbeit\u00bb Rassismuskritik in der Institutionsentwicklung, basierend auf dem Projekt \u00abWdKA makes a difference \u00bb in Rotterdam. Pascal Schwaighofers<\/strong> Artikel \u00fcber einen nicht realisierten Auftrag f\u00fcr ein k\u00fcnstlerisches Projekt in einem Empfangs- und Verfahrenszentrum f\u00fcr Asylsuchende im Tessin gibt seltene Einblicke in Diskussionen vor dem Zustandekommen eines solchen Auftrags f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche Kunst und verweist auf das Zusammenspiel von Repr\u00e4sentation und Entrechtung. Ay<\/strong>\u015f<\/strong>e G<\/strong>\u00fc<\/strong>le<\/strong>\u00e7<\/strong> stellt Ma\u00dfnahmen gegen das Leise-Stellen von migrantisch situiertem Wissen \u00fcber den NSU-Komplex<\/em> im Rahmen von Ausstellung und Vermittlung auf der documenta 14 dar.<\/p>\n

Recent political developments in Europe\u2014the growing strength of right-wing parties and the growth of \u201cideologies of inequality\u201d (Heinrich B\u00f6ll Foundation 2016)\u2014motivated Nanna L<\/strong>\u00fcth<\/strong> to edit this issue of Art Education Research that focuses on the challenges related to work in art and art education that takes a critical perspective on racism. Since summer 2016, A<\/strong>\u00efcha Diallo and Danja Erni<\/strong> have been directing the KontextSchule in Berlin, a place for the continuing education of teachers and artists. In this issue, they reflect on their experience of integrating a critique of discriminatory practices into the KontextSchule\u2019s program. Aware of their own \u201cmental images,\u201d they chart not only utopias and triumphs but also the borders, points of vulnerability, and \u201cstumbling blocks in the learning process.\u201d Based on a project in Rotterdam, \u201cWdKA makes a difference,\u201d in her contribution, \u201cEveryone has to learn everthing, or: emotional labor,\u201d Nana Adusei-Poku <\/strong>also addresses issues related to developing a critical perspective on racism within the context of institutional development. Pascal Schwaighofer<\/strong>, in his article about a commission for an unrealized art project that was to have taken place in a reception and registration center for asylum seekers in the Swiss canton of Ticino, provides insights into the discussions that take place before commissions for such public art projects even come into being, and points to the connection between representation and the denial of rights. Ay<\/strong>\u015fe G\u00fcle\u00e7<\/strong> considers ways to combat the silencing of migrant-situated knowledge about the terror committed by the \u201cNational Socialist Underground\u201c (NSU) and the institutionalized racism, upon which it is based, within the framework of an exhibition and presentation at documenta 14.<\/p>\n
