my school | my discipline<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a Textile Designer from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India.\u00a0 I have worked in the Textile industry for over a decade.\u00a0 I have been a faculty member at NID in the Textile Design discipline since 2010. My interests lie in sketching, painting, weaving, craft studies, and textile and fashion accessories.<\/p>\n

I believe Design is all about simplifying lives. As a Textile Designer my focus has always been to make life simpler, enjoyable, meaningful and sustainable for everyone who is involved in the process from creation to final utilization.<\/p>\n

my motivation to take part in the International Design School 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

The theme of the workshop is extremely exciting and futuristic.\u00a0 I look forward to cross-cultural interactions and finding new ways in taking forward the traditional skills and wisdom while implementing it in the technologically advanced contemporary world.<\/p>\n
