My focus as a designer<\/strong>\u00a0is Interaction Design. Using the principles of User Centered Design and Human Factors to create and innovate simple yet effective interactions, experiences and interfaces is where, I think I can contribute to design.<\/p>\n

My journey in design started with Animation and VFX. However, I felt I was restricted in the ways I could contribute or make a difference through design. Soon I developed inclination towards designing experiences and interactions attacking the pain-points the users have. The driving force to pursue interaction design is the outlook of people today who design products and services for just utility and not an experience.<\/p>\n

My motivation to take part in the International Design School 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have always enjoyed meeting new people, sharing experiences and learning from them. I strongly believe that there is so much to learn from peers through their perspective of things that otherwise cannot be done. Hence, an opportunity like this is a perfect platform for me to meet others from similar areas of interest, but from different cultures and backgrounds.<\/p>\n

Also, looking at the project brief, I am hoping to pick up tools, approach and methodologies that I can apply to Innovation and Interaction design.<\/p>\n
