Changes since version 2.9.2:<\/p>\n

  1. Hand over pages perform much faster because only the data that’s actually needed is transmitted.<\/li>\n
  2. The availability graph now shows both the group counts and the total number of available items<\/li>\n
  3. The availability graph now shows reservations from “far in the future” and “far in the past” even on the current date. This should help figure out when a very old or future (but assigned) reservation is blocking an item<\/li>\n
  4. Code is cleaner in many areas, especially the availability graph and inventory code assignment JavaScripts<\/li>\n
  5. There is early documentation for hooking up to LDAP<\/li>\n
  6. Many layouts moved to HAML in preparation for our upgrade to Rails 3.1<\/li>\n
  7. Dozens of bugs fixed!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Installing\/upgrading via git<\/h3>\n

    The latest stable commit is tagged 2.9.3<\/strong> on the master branch.<\/p>\n

    If you’ve never cloned leihs via Git, you can get a fresh copy like this:<\/p>\n

    \ncd leihs<\/code>
    \ngit checkout -b my_leihs 2.9.3<\/code>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    If you already have a “leihs” directory with a Git clone of leihs, you can update your version like this, inside your leihs directory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Make sure to have a backup copy of your configuration files before starting this (config\/database.yml, config\/environment.rb, config\/LDAP.yml).<\/strong> Alternatively, you could just store those files outside your leihs directory and symlink them into it, so that git mostly ignores them.<\/p>\n
