    Installing\/upgrading via git<\/h3>\n

    The latest stable commit is tagged\u00a02.9.6\u00a0<\/strong>on the master branch. If you’ve never cloned leihs via Git, you can get a fresh copy like this:<\/p>\n

    git clone git:\/\/github.com\/psy-q\/leihs.git leihs <\/code>cd leihs <\/code>git checkout -b my_leihs 2.9.6<\/code><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    If you already have a “leihs” directory with a Git clone of leihs, you can update your version like this,\u00a0inside your leihs directory<\/strong>.\u00a0Make sure to have a backup copy of your configuration files before starting this (config\/database.yml, config\/environment.rb, config\/LDAP.yml).<\/strong>Alternatively, you could just store those files outside your leihs directory and symlink them into it, so that git mostly ignores them.<\/p>\n

    git fetch <\/code>git checkout my_leihs<\/code> git merge 2.9.6<\/code> RAILS_ENV=production rake db:migrate<\/code><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
