He is the Associate Dean and Associate Professor at the School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, who also leads the BA (Hons) Art and Design in Education Programme.<\/p>\n<p>Siu researches and writes on art and design education, information design, indigenous creativity and vernacular design, upcycling design, material &amp; visual culture, theme parks, community engagement and curatorial practices. His writings appear in various local newspapers, magazines and international journals.<\/p>\n<p>Siu co-founded a curatorial collective, Community Museum Project (http:\/\/www.hkcmp.org\/) since 2002, which endeavours to visualize and disseminate local knowledge and practices in form of exhibitions, publications, cultural tourism and urban pedagogy projects.<\/p>\n<p>Siu produces experimental exhibitions and often participates in local and international creative and visual culture projects. For many years, he has been exploring ways to initiate collaborations among students, teachers, designers and artists through organizing exhibitions and publishing projects.
