Studied photography at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences (Germany) as well as at the Zurich University of Arts until 2003.\u00a0In 2003-2006, he has been working as a curatorial assistant of the Neue Kunst Halle St. Gallen, in 2006-2007 as the artistic director of the institution. From April 2007, he is working as a freelance curator and critic. 2007 founding member of the curatorial collective “The John Institute”. From 2006 lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts. Meltzer is writing on contemporary art for books as well as for art magazines such as Kunstbulletin, frieze magazine and spike on a regular basis.<\/p>\n Tido von Oppeln, research team<\/b><\/p>\n Tido von Oppeln was born in 1974 in East Frisia – Germany, he studied cultural sciences and philosophy at the Humboldt University Berlin. 2002 he became a member of the executive board of the archive of the German Werkbund and 2003 cofounder of the echtzeitinstitut.\u00a0Since 2005 he is working as arthor and curator. He was involved in different exhibitions on design and architecture like; 2007 \u201estadtfinden-moderne\u201c the anniversary of the international architecture exhibition Berlin 1957; 2008 for the Vitra Design Museum in the course of the exhibition \u201eAdventures with Objekts\u201c in Turin – Italy; and 2009, for the belgian curator Max Borka, in Marta Herford \u201eNullpunkt.
