Grip editor

The final part of the dynamic grip prototype is the editor which allows to easily adjust hand poses for different objects which can then be saved into the game objects’ properties. I also tweaked the throwing mechanism in order to make the thrown object fly more predictably towards the crosshair instead of relying on the throwing animation. In the following video you can see both the editor and the new throw in action.

 

As this is the final part of the prototype I will move on to a new prototype which implements a full-body first person character to be used with motion captured animations in the future.
