Die Pressestelle ist die Schnittstelle zwischen dem Innen und Aussen in den drei Tagen der Konferenz. Sie der Ort, an dem dokumentiert, verarbeitet, transformiert, reproduziert, archiviert und vervielfältigt wird. Installiert im Stall 6 des Theaterhauses Gessneralle kann jeder und jede während der Öffnungszeiten der Konferenz zu uns kommen und Material (Text und Bild) oder kleine Pressemitteilungen abgeben. Wir sind ausgestattet mit einem Kopierer, Schreibmaschinen, einem Risographen und einem Drucker sowie einem Stapel von vorgedruckten Letterpress-Plakaten. Die Plakate sind nur zum Teil gestaltet, so dass wir Material den Plakaten hinzufügen können. Wir selbst werden auch aktiv, machen Fotos, nehmen auf, kommentieren…

The ‘press office’ is a newsroom where Zurich and the conference collide; here real-time processing, documentation, production and archiving of textual and visual material take place. Throughout the three days of the conference the press office will be installed on the stage at Stall 6, both theatre foyer and cafe/bar. Equipped with typewriters, a risograph, printing and copy machines, and a stack of pre-printed letterpress posters, the press office crew will process both self-produced material and material dropped off by the conference audience and any other person that has a line or an image to contribute. The material will be transferred onto posters to then be displayed and given away to attendees.
