Art Matters <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

An exchange between young art educators from Switzerland and from countries of the South Caucasus. In the Art Matters project, prospective young art teachers, educated in Universities in Switzerland and the South Caucasus, come together for an exchange; the first one between students from Zurich and Sukhum\/i*, the second one between Zurich and Yerevan. In each exchange, the participants discuss didactic and methodological issues with the local tutors and lecture in short internships in the local schools. In addition, representatives of the different city\u2019s school authorities meet to discuss their working contexts and options for action and future perspectives.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the project is to promote the exchange between young people from two different cultural backgrounds. By comparing pedagogical approaches from very different contexts, the taken-for-granted within one\u2019s own culture should become visible. An awareness of the respective cultural heritage in educational approaches should create space for new impulses, for impulses, which can be passed on in the classroom in the future. An acquaintance with another culture, and the ability to imagine an everyday-life under completely different conditions, constitute an important tool for prospective educators, working in an increasingly multi-cultural society.<\/p>\n

Art Matters <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Ein Austausch zwischen jungen Kunstp\u00e4dagog_innen aus der Schweiz und aus den L\u00e4ndern des S\u00fcdkaukasus<\/p>\n

Im Projekt Art Matters<\/em> kommen junge Menschen, die in der Schweiz und im S\u00fcdkaukasus zu Lehrpersonen f\u00fcr den Kunstunterricht an Schulen ausgebildet werden, zu einem Austausch zusammen. Einmal in Z\u00fcrich und in Suchum\/i*, einmal in Z\u00fcrich und Jerewan. An beiden Orten nehmen sie an gemeinsamen Workshops teil, diskutieren mit den dortigen Dozent_innen didaktische und methodische Fragestellungen und erproben diese in einem kurzen Schulpraktikum. Zudem treffen sich Vertreter_innen der Schulbeh\u00f6rden zu einem Austausch \u00fcber ihre Arbeitskontexte, Handlungsoptionen und zuk\u00fcnftige Herausforderungen.<\/p>\n

Oberstes Ziel des Projektes ist es, den Austausch zwischen jungen Menschen aus zwei verschiedenen Kulturr\u00e4umen zu f\u00f6rdern. Durch den Austausch \u00fcber p\u00e4dagogische Ans\u00e4tze aus sehr unterschiedlichen Kontexten sollen f\u00fcr selbstverst\u00e4ndlich genommene Vorgehensweisen hinterfragbar werden. Ein Bewusstsein f\u00fcr das jeweilige kulturelle Erbe in Erziehungsfragen soll Raum f\u00fcr neue Impulse schaffen, Impulse, die sp\u00e4ter im Unterricht weitergegeben werden k\u00f6nnen. Ein Wissen um andere Kulturen und ein Vorstellungsverm\u00f6gen f\u00fcr andere Lebensverh\u00e4ltnisse bilden ein wichtiges R\u00fcstzeug f\u00fcr die angehenden P\u00e4dagog_innen, die in einer zunehmend multi-kulturellen Gesellschaft unterrichten werden.<\/p>\n
