An der Uni Konstanz wurde ein malender Roboter entwickelt. Er folgt nicht einem sturen Ablauf sondern schaut wo hell und dunkel nicht der Vorlage entsprechen um die nächsten Striche zu planen. Und die Bilder werden gar nicht mal so schlecht (am Ende des Videos). Mindestens so spannend wie der Roboter selbst sind die Fragen, die so ein Projekt in den Kommentaren aufwirft:
(…) why do humans paint? and then when one has found answers to that, the next query is ‚Why would it be useful in any capacity to have a robot that can paint. what is its purpose?‘ The robot has no way of appreciating what it has done, it can merely calculate or analyse it but cannot feel it in any sense in the way a human could. (…) But what would i see if i entered a gallery full of robot paintings? Simulacra of consciousness? An imitation of soul? And is calling it ‚him‘ somehow to make it feel more sentient?
