The film blends Higashida\u2019s revelatory descriptions of his autism, written when he was just 13, with intimate portraits of the everyday lives of five young autistic people.<\/p>\n<p>The film uses 360-degree sound to take an audience into a world of intense sensory experience. The score and the 360-degree location recordings are knitted together in Atmos sound design to evoke spaces, memories and associations.
