Sarah Atkinson\u00a0begann 2015 als\u00a0Dozentin in Digital Cultures\u00a0am King’s College London, wo sie in den\u00a0Departmenten\u00a0\u201cDigital Humanities\u201d und \u201cCulture, Media & Creative Industries (CMCI)\u201d\u00a0t\u00e4tig war. 2017 wurde\u00a0sie\u00a0zur\u00a0Leiterin\u00a0des Departments CMCI ernannt.<\/p>\n

Vorher war Sarah Atkinson\u00a0Dozentin im Bereich Film & Medien\u00a0der University of Brighton\u00a0(2006-2015) und stellvertretende Leiterin\u00a0der School of\u00a0Art, Design and Media (2012-2015). Zuvor hatte sie Positionen an der University of Central Lancashire und der University of\u00a0Salford inne.<\/p>\n

Sarah hat einen BA Honours, First Class in Media with Cultural Studies (1998) und einen praxisbasierten PhDin Interactive Cinema (2009). Ausserdem ist Sarah Mitherausgeberin von Convergence: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies.<\/p>\n

Sie forscht und lehrt unter anderem im Bereich \u201eExpanded Cinema\u201c, \u201eLive Cinema Economy\u201c und VR. Sie ist Co-Herausgeberin von \u201eConvergence: The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies\u201c<\/a>\u00a0und Co-Autorin des \u201eFuture of Film Reports\u201c<\/a>.<\/p>\n
