He has led Research &amp; Development at the Animation Institute of the Filmakademie Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg since 2003 and received an honorary professorship from the Filmakademie in 2013. In recent years, he has conducted research on several EU-funded projects such as Dreamspace and SAUCE.
