Kay Kysela, who says he was born in Aarberg (BE) in 1989, is a nurse and actor. Before deciding to pursue a career as an actor, which brought him to the Schauspielhaus Z\u00fcrich as a permanent member of the ensemble for the 2019\/20 season, Kay Kysela performed internationally as an acrobat in the martial arts acrobatic comedy show group “Swisstricks”. He also gave workshops in stage combat and tricks.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n From 2012 to 2016 he studied acting at the Hochschule der K\u00fcnste Bern. During his training, he was already given various guest roles, such as in Patrick Gusset’s production of “Othello” and in “Frankenstein” directed by Philip St\u00f6lzl at the Theater Basel. He also appeared at the Zurich Festival in Niklaus Helbling’s production of “Sturm in Patumbah” and at the AUAWIRLEBEN festival in Bern in Mirko Borscht’s “Ghost of Chance”.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n From 2016 to 2019 he was a permanent member of the St. Gallen Theatre, where he worked with renowned directors such as Barbara-David Br\u00fcesch, Jonas Knecht, Bettina Bruinier, Martin Pfaff, Melanie Huber, Jenke Nordalm and many others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In addition to his theatre work, he also shoots for film and television: his projects include the series “Mindblow” and “Neumatt”, roles in “Tatort”, the successful series “Wilder”, “Kommissarin Heller”, “Die Beschatter” and the feature film “Weglaufen geht nicht”.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Kay likes to swim in the rain, eats arugula salad with a passion and doesn’t like to drink plain water.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n >> Deutsche Version\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Kay Kysela, who says he was born in Aarberg (BE) in 1989, is a nurse and actor.
