Gina\u00a0Dellagiacoma<\/span><\/b>\u00a0is a researcher and cultural producer based in Lucerne and Zurich.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2023, Gina\u00a0Dellagiacoma\u00a0is a PhD candidate at the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies at the University of Z\u00fcrich and research assistant to Prof. Dr. Silvy Chakkalakal.\u00a0Prior to this,\u00a0she\u00a0completed\u00a0her\u00a0master\u2019s degree\u00a0in Cultural Studies at the University of Lucerne and worked at the\u00a0Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies at the University of Bern.\u00a0Her current\u00a0research and teaching focuses\u00a0on arts and aesthetic practices, feminist and queer theories and visual culture studies. She is a board member of Empirical Cultural Studies Switzerland (EKWS).\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her dissertation is on feminist films during the new women\u2019s movement in Switzerland (1970\u201395). In her project,\u00a0she\u2019s\u00a0investigating not only the historical phenomenon of feminist film, but also the actualisation of practices and protagonists in the present. Her dissertation is part of the doctoral programme \u2018Epistemologies of Aesthetic Practices\u2019 at the Collegium\u00a0Helveticum.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In her broader work, Gina\u00a0Dellagiacoma\u00a0is interested in the creation and mediation of knowledge at the intersections between art and academia. For many years, she has worked in and together with various cultural institutions such as\u00a0Neubad\u00a0Luzern,\u00a0<\/span>Die\u00a0Predigt<\/span><\/i>,\u00a0Kleintheater\u00a0Luzern or\u00a0<\/span>aha \u2013\u00a0ein\u00a0Festival f\u00fcr Wissen<\/span><\/i>, where she has curated and moderated a variety of lectures and discussions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
