Birgit\u00a0<\/span>Glombitza<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u202f<\/span>is<\/span>\u00a0a freelance\u00a0<\/span>dramaturg<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>lecturer<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>curator<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>with<\/span>\u00a0a focus on film art,\u00a0<\/span>experimental<\/span>\u00a0formats, and\u00a0<\/span>cinematic<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>dramaturgy<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Since<\/span>\u00a02020,\u00a0<\/span>she<\/span>\u00a0has been\u00a0<\/span>teaching<\/span>\u00a0at the Zurich\u00a0<\/span>University<\/span>\u00a0of the Arts (<\/span>ZHdK<\/span>) in the Institute of Film and has\u00a0<\/span>previously<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>held<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>teaching<\/span>\u00a0positions at the\u00a0<\/span>University<\/span>\u00a0of Basel,\u00a0<\/span>HfBK<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Hamburg<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>HafenCity<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>University<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>From<\/span>\u00a02010 to 2018,\u00a0<\/span>she<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>served<\/span>\u00a0as the\u00a0<\/span>artistic<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>director<\/span>\u00a0of the International Short Film Festival\u00a0<\/span>Hamburg<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>curating<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>numerous<\/span>\u00a0film programs and\u00a0<\/span>special<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>projects<\/span>\u00a0at the intersection of\u00a0<\/span>cinema<\/span>, art, and installation. As a\u00a0<\/span>dramaturg<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>she<\/span>\u00a0has\u00a0<\/span>supported<\/span>\u00a0international\u00a0<\/span>feature<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>documentary<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>experimental<\/span>\u00a0films,\u00a0<\/span>including<\/span>\u00a0productions\u00a0<\/span>showcased<\/span>\u00a0at festivals\u00a0<\/span>such<\/span>\u00a0as Locarno and Rotterdam.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>She<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>has<\/span>\u00a0also\u00a0<\/span>served<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0<\/span>juries<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>for<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>various<\/span>\u00a0national and regional film\u00a0<\/span>funding<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>institutions<\/span>. In\u00a0<\/span>addition<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>she<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>regularly<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>publishes<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>essays<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>texts<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0<\/span>film<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>body<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>space<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>aesthetics<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span>academic<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>publications<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>catalogues<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>media<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>outlets<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
