Mathematica 7
Existing Mathematica 7 installation has stopped working because it can’t find the License-Server. Here’s how to fix that.
1. go to: /Applications/Mathematica.app
2. “right-click” (ctrl.+click) —> /Applications/Mathematica.app
3. open “Paketinhalt zeigen” or “show conent”
4. double-Click —> “mathpass” or open with “TextEdit.app”
5. Replace “!dirserve.zhdk.ch” with “!app-license.zhdk.ch”
6. Save and close the File
That’s all! —> start Mathematica 7.app now.
This also works with “VPN” at your home or anywhere you have an internet connection.
