yesterday was busy and very full– I was out almost all day– so i decided today needed a slower pace. i have been productive after all, but not when it comes to school work. i managed to organize my closet (noted that i have too many clothes), i folded a bunch of laundry, i bought zopf for breakfast, and i spent quite a while painting.
painting is both easier and more difficult than one would think. since i sketch regularly, basic forms and simple things with two colors weren’t so difficult. when i tried doing a more detailed face though, things got more difficult.
this girl turned out okay, but why didn’t i paint something for her arm to rest on?
i quite like the man on the left and the pink face, but once again i run into problems with consistency.
oh the nose!

of course radials had to supervise the whole ordeal…
i really would like to be able to paint better, so i need to buckle down and paint paint paint… oh wait, i really should be working on my posters, or cutting out my photos for school. oops.
