here is my latest project– a textless children’s book. we had four weeks to do something on the theme, Aufs Messers Schneide, or On a Knife’s Edge. i wanted to try to make a children’s book. in the beginning i experimented with a lot of different mediums: acrylics, collage, ink, etc. but decided watercolor with fineliner was the best choice. the characters in the book were designed using clay and other modeling material. perhaps later I will post more about the process, but for now you may look at the “final product.”

Please feel free to ask any questions or give me some tips in the comments, but note that I have been struggling with the wordpress interface. ideally I would like to present the book in double pages as an image slideshow, but for now this will have to do.
