I love being in nature and looking at far away cities through the jungle. Hong Kong offers plenty of opportunities for doing that. To me this combination of nature and human built structure has an almost surreal feeling to it. It feels like being on a different planet and discovering a foreign civilization. Or being an explorer in the jungle, searching for a long lost city (see also “The lost city of z” by David Grann, if you like these kind of stories).
