Das neue Haupt-Code-Repository für leihs ist jetzt auf GitHub.
Da bei git branching und merging so einfach funktionieren und wir gerade recht viel davon brauchen, macht git für uns mehr Sinn als Subversion. GitHub fügt dieser Mischung noch eine gute Community-Integration, einfache Forks und Pull Requests hinzu — wir hoffen, das Projekt damit einladender zu machen für neuen Code “von aussen”.
Wenn du eine neue Funktion hinzufügen willst, mach doch einfach einen Fork und schick mir einen Pull Request, sobald es interessant wird. Mit Verbesserungen am Frontend sollte aber niemand Zeit verschwenden, das wechseln wir sowieso gegen Ende des Jahres durch ein anderes aus.

The new master repository for leihs source code is now at GitHub.
Since git makes merging and branching so much easier (and we need a lot of that right now), moving to git has many advantages for leihs. GitHub adds easy community integration, forking and pull requests — we hope that this creates a more inviting situation for other people to contribute changes
If you want to add a feature, feel free to go ahead in a fork and send me a pull request when you’ve reached an interesting stage. Just don’t waste any time improving the frontend, we will be replacing that around the end of the year anyway.
