I’ve done some tinkering on how to use our giant delta-tower even faster… it’s simple: bigger nozzle diameter! based on an idea joris had – i got my hands on some fresh nozzles and a cnc machine (fablab zurich)and made a shower-head-style nozzle with a total of six 0.4mm holes. the first tests on an ultimaker were very promising! i managed to print 0.6mm layers with 2mm thick walls in one single line! on the deltatower – due to less power (12V vs 19V?) or a different hotend design, i couldn’t yet reach the same prints-speeds.
