The Zurich Fiction Film Conference ZFICTION is an annual event of the Institute for the Performing Arts and Film in cooperation with the Subject Area Film of the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK. The conference takes place on Stage A of the Theater der Künste (Gessnerallee 9, 8001 Zurich, Switzerland).

Ticketing
Tickets can be purchased in January.

ZFICTION ticket (2 Days) = CHF 130;
reduced rate for external students (only with student card) = CHF 80.

ZFICTION day pass (1 Tag) = CHF 90;
reduced rate for external students (only with student card) = CHF 50.

ZHdK members (staff and students) (only with ZHdK card) = CHF 0.

Box office
There is the possibility of purchasing tickets directly at the daily box office. ATTENTION: Only card payment possible.

Language
The talks at ZFICTION.26 will be in English.

Research and Film
The Research Focus Film of the ZHdK promotes practice-based research and a professional debate on current forms of filmmaking. Starting in 2020, the international documentary film conference ZDOK is joined by the fiction film conference ZFICTION. The twin conferences take place alternately every two years and seek to address relevant topics from different perspectives: Filmmakers present their works and give lectures on their distinctive attitudes and working methods, while film scholars examine the conference topic from a theoretical point of view. Discussion panels bring the two perspectives together.
