City as a Bridge – if now was somewhere else

„If now was somewhere else” ist eine Performance, die sich mit dem Thema Brücken befasst. Sie besteht aus einem Audio-Walk über eine Brücke, die gleichzeitg in den drei Städten Zürich, Hamburg und Hong Kong stattfand und akustisch aufgenommen worden ist. Die Besucher der Ausstellung werden während 15 Minuten von drei Stimmen über die Brücke geführt. Die Tonverbindung kann gelesen werden als Kaleidoskop der Erzählung, Evaluation und Beschreibung der konkreten Situation in jeder Stadt.

„if now was somewhere else” is a site specific performance dealing with the frame of the bridge. The performance – a live-audio-walk crossing a bridge from one side to the other in three different cities of Zurich, Hamburg, and Hong Kong at the same time – was documented as an audio-recording. Visitors of the exhibition will be guided across a bridge within fif- teen minutes by three different voices. The soundconnection is understood as a kaleidoscope of narration, evaluation and description of the concrete situation in each city.
