Living Freight – Intermediate Container

Appartement, brothel or studio? – at first sight something completely different. But in Zurich there is a place connecting these areas: Altstetten, an alternative container place. Our serie of photography is inspired by a group of students from ZHdK focusing on conerting of containers. In Altstetten, they are refugee centre, studio and brothel together. We would like to focus on the different use of containers in Hamburg. Living next to Elbe often means „home to harbour“ for us, but we would like to show you what containers really means to us in our daily-life. There are different types of photos and it isn´t always clear that we´ve taken photos of containers – we just would like to reflect its usage in a creative way.
