hello!
I finally have time to post again– the semester turned busy after my last post and I found myself with barely enough time to sleep, let alone post here. Which means I have a lot of projects to document here. I hope to share a several Graphic Design and Photo projects as well as my latest project, an illustrated children’s book.
Summer holiday started this week and I’ve been mostly relaxing and playing around with paint. Last weekend we went on a hike in Kanton St. Gallen and visited the the Kristal Hölen. Octavia was impressed by the crystals in the cave, but fell and hurt her foot on the way home. Here are a couple photos from that day:
As far as the rest of the summer, we have plans to go camping in the French speaking part of Switzerland, and in just a few weeks I am traveling to Austria to take a course in picture book illustration here. Oh, and I’m super excited to be one of the student photographers at the Open Air St. Gallen at the end of this month. Hopefully I will have time to work on a summer project through school as well. One of my professor’s asked for help setting a blog up for the project. I will share the link to it once I get it up and running.
Here are a few photos of stuff I have been doing this week. It is lovely to do a few things quickly, off the cuff, but I can tell there is a big difference between these works and the stuff we’ve been doing in school that have a long (arduous) process behind them.
