An early start and a short auto ride brought us to the start of the Heritage Walk of Ahmedabad, where we got to see secret passages of the old town, an introduction into world of pols and their history, bird feeding towers, a jain temple, a mosque and lots of cows, dogs and squirrels on the way. After a little big brunch the Mata Ni Pachedi-groups were invited into their homes to learn more about the world of their craft. The leather craft groups in the meanwhile came up with 1-2 line concepts which in the evening were discussed between the groups and the craftsmen themselves, sitting in a circle and commented on by chatty birds.
