Reinhild Blaschke
Following her studies in costume and stage design at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art and the Muchina Institute in St. Petersburg Reinhild began her career working in theater and opera.
She designed productions at the Muenchner Kammerspiele, Wiener Festwochen, Staatsschauspiel Hannover, Staatstheater Kassel, as well as for independent projects with Opera Factory Zurich, Neue Oper Wien and Zeitgenössische Oper Berlin.
Since 2005 she is also working as a production designer with a focus on auteur films.
Her credits include collaborations with Thomas Arslan(In the Shadows , Gold , Bright Nights ,Scorched Earth), Angela Schanelec I Was at Home, but… ), Julian Radlmaier (Bloodsuckers ) and Ulrich Köhler (Gavagai )
In the field of fine arts Reinhild has designed sets for video artist Andreas Bunte (Skulptur Projekte Münster 2017) and curated a group exhibition with spacerelated objects together with artists Dinah Khouri and Arhun Arksakal (‘Alt- at Rote Insel’ Berlin, 2024).
Her teaching activities include seminars and lectures at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin, the UdK and KHB Berlin, the media seminar at the University of Basel and others.
Reinhild Blaschke is based in Berlin.
