(Tele-) Vision

THE DIGITAL AGE ALLOWS US TO SEE FOREIGN PLACES MOVING.

THE DIGITAL AGE CONSTRUCTS REALITY FASTER THAN EVER.

WE ARE USED TO READ IMAGES.

FOR COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY, TEXTURE MEANS: Surface, which is detectable with the eye.

  1. You emphasized in your concept the relevance of questions that lead to the short films you are doing. Do you want to reveal the question that belongs to this video?

    1. I also meant, that I won’t write out the questions, to look, what the other side is seeing. And waiting of a response. Unfortunately, Winnie could just show me her response yet… in this matter (as a late Christmas present Birk :D), here the “Questions/Answers” which caused uploading this video.
I think: “Uetliberg”, where the clip was filmed, is one of the rare places in Zurich (nearby the city) where you can see/feel the swiss cliche (mountains, nature, cows, bell sound and so on). But even in this green idyll, you listen to the vibrating engine sound. Where does it come from? A view into the blue, revealed a flying machine, drawing away from the green, from the nature, over the silver heart of a machine society. Machine sound is where digital age starts to roll.
So: Where flows Nature and culture together in Hongkong? Where becomes wood, steel? Where are stealing lanterns, traffic lights (so:city lights )the stars the show during night time, where runs electricity like water, where twitter the people like birds in the forrest… and so on.
      I wish y’all a contemplative time :)))
(I will upload the next video soon, please answer – even other groups, if you got leisure and time.)
      Enjoy time, Joanna
