I still wonder, why this film is considered to be swiss in the xprmntl-catalogue. i saw it, when I first researched into the field, but the film doesn’t have any (obvious) connection to switzerland. it’s shot in kassel, i believe, and dahlmann is as german as it gets. would be interesting to find the link…
I would say funding? And as a German, he might have had connections to the Swiss scene? I don’t know, just dropping hypotheses… definitely have to dig more about it. And apart from Schlemmer’s “Avantgardistischer film 1951-1971”, could not find much on this Dahlmann…
