Der Grafiker und Künstler Günther Ruch lebte ab 1970 in Genf. 1973 gründete er dort die Edition “out press”. Von 1983 bis 1988 war er zudem Herausgeber des Network Assembling Magazins “Clinch”. Neben Filmen, Soundpoetry und Performance war er auch in der Mail Art aktiv. 1986 initiierte er gemeinsam mit anderen den 1. Dezentralen Mail Art-Kongress. 1994 nahm er an der Ausstellung Mail Art. Netzwerk der Künstler im PTT- Museum in Bern teil.
