Mendrisio Cantonal Psychiatric Clinic

Mendrisio Psychiatric Clinic was opened in 1898 as the “Ospedale Neuropsichiatrico cantonale” (Cantonal Neuropsychiatric Hospital) in the village of Casvegno near the town of Mendrisio. In 1985, a reform created the present-day association of socio-psychiatric institutions in the Canton of Ticino. No access to the clinic archive was granted.
