Ein bekanntes Objekt wird beschrieben, ohne davon ein Bild zu zeigen. Das Objekt wird dabei nicht beim Namen genannt, sondern nur formal beschrieben. Das Produkt wird auf verschiedene Aspekte Untersucht. So wird das Wissen des Lesers über das Objekt im Laufe des Textes immer grösser.
(Möglich ist auch, dass das Objekt nur auf einen bestimmten Aspekt untersucht wird. So wäre der Text ein Ausschnitt aus der Gesamtanalyse zum Produkt. Frage an meine Gruppe: Eine vollständige Analyse des Objekts würde den Rahmen des Projekts sprengen. Wäre es eine Möglichkeit, das Objekt beispielsweise „nur“ auf ihren Benutzerkontext/ Form/ Oberfläche zu überprüfen?)

Die Erzählperson analysiert das Objekt mit Fachvokabular aus dem Industriedesig und ist somit vom Fach. Er lässt seine persönliche Meinung zum Objekt nicht (oder erst bei einem fazitähnlichen Schlussteil) einfliessen. Somit erfährt man über den Schriftsteller/ Erzählperson nicht viel.

Formdiktat eines Objekts
Geometrische Form
Das Objekt ist ein hohlkörpriger, rotationssymmetrischer Kegelstumpf, der auf der sich nach unten verjüngenden Fläche steht. Der Kegel ist nach oben geöffnet, wobei die Standfläche durch einen eingesetzten Boden versiegelt ist. Der Mantel des Konus ist doppelwandig, um dem Körper Stabilität zu verleihen und besteht somit aus drei Teilen.
Boden
Der tellerförmige Boden des Objekts bildet durch rechtwinkliges Tiefziehen des Kreisumfangs eine ringförmige Auflagefläche. Somit wird ein Ebenenversatz der Standfläche erwirkt. Der Boden des Kegels ist somit erhöht und kontaktiert die Bezugsebene nicht.
