Mel Churcher is an acting and voice coach from the United Kingdom and gives workshops and lectures all over the world. She has worked with Michelle Yeoh, Gerard Butler, Daniel Craig, Paul Giamatti, Angelina Jolie, Felicity Jones, Milla Jovovich, Keira Knightley, Mads Mikkelson, Clive Owen, Sam Riley, Stellan Skarsgard, John Turturro and Jon Voight. As an actor and broadcaster, her work included leading roles at the Royal National Theatre, the New Shakespeare Company and extensive film, radio and television work. Mel has an MA in Performing Arts and an MA in Voice Studies and is a member of the Writers’ Guild, the Directors’ Guild and a Life Member of the British Academy of Film & Television Arts.
Mel has had numerous articles published and has written three books: Acting for Film: Truth 24 Times a Second”, published by Virgin Books, A Screen Acting Workshop and The Elemental Actor published by Nick Hern Books.
