Ahlam, originally from Bagdad, Iraq, now lives in Eastern Germany. She is one of the protagonists of Rand Beiruty’s documentary film TELL THEM ABOUT US (2024) and, at the same time, she is the young woman on whose story the animation documentary SHADOWS (Rand Beiruty, 2024) is based on.
