Time to pay a visit to the western part of Switzerland! On May 18, I was in Lausanne to meet Elias Farhan, Head of Game Programming at the SAE Institute Genève. When he’s not in Lausanne, he’s traveling the world with ‘Soup Raiders’, the newest concept of his game studio ‘Team KwaKwa’. Next to his experience in the games industry, he has a personal interest in politics.

First we talked about political participation in the French speaking and the German speaking parts of Switzerland. Then we discussed how games could benefit the neutral motivation of voters. Elias gave me useful tips on how to approach the game design for CH+. Next to practical ideas and suggestions, he recommended a couple of apps which I could analyse for inspiration.

One thing is clear: this was not my last journey into the Romandie!
