The interactive performance was part of the REFESH #3 conference and demonstrates some early results of the ongoing artistic research project The Umbrella Project.

unbetitelter tanz - Performance

Zander Porter and Julie Zhu are artists in residence at the ICST (Institute for Computer and Sound Technology) and will perform their piece unbetitelter tanz this Friday at the IAS. Zander performs the network activity backlog of a post-internet cyborg (a body), while Julie navigates the movement-synchronized beatings and shrieks from no-input feedback.

Public performance starts at 16:00 at the IAS.

ZURICH ART WEEKEND

During this year`s Zurich Art Weekend the Immersive Arts Space will showcase an installative version of our project Zangezi. The exhibition will be held in the Filmstudio, next door to the Immersive Arts Space.

Opening Hours are:
Fri, 13th June: 14:00 – 19:00
Sat, 14th June: 13:00 – 17:00
Sun, 15th June: 13:00 – 16:00

reconFIGURE in Lima

We are very happy to announce, that reconFIGURE will be exhibited at the Museo de Arte Lima, short MALI. The museum is dedicating a whole exhibition adapting it to their audience.

reconFIGURE - Transformando la relación entre el cuerpo y el entorno.
Opening 29th May 2025.

reconFIGURE at ISEA Conference

reconFIGURE will be shown at the exhibition of the ISEA Conference 2025 (International Symposium on Electric Art). Furthermore, Chris Salter and Martin Fröhlich will present their papers as part of the academic and artistic program.
This year`s international conference is taking place in Seoul from 23rd to 29th May 2025.
