The first edition of MESH Festival starts officially tomorrow and will include a performance of Zangezi-Experiments and and installation, doppelgaenger:apparatus, developed by the IAS.

Norbert Kottmann and Valentin Huber, research associates the the IAS, will participate in this years HKAPA PerformTech Symposium 2024: Staging the Future of Performing Arts at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts . On the 17th October they will hold a presentation on Revolutionizing Storytelling: The Rise of Virtual Production in Film & TV Education along with Manu Hendry, lecturer in ZHdK film department. In their presentation the cineDESK is highlighted as an innovative technique that integrates digital tools and real-time technology, offering new creative possibilities.

Bodies Remediated: Another Next First Conversation is a public workshop that takes place from 12. to 13. September at Kino Toni. The international workshop aims at an interdisciplinary exchange and engagement on skilled practices and their digital remediation, in and across current domains of art, science, and technology.

During this year`s festival REFRESH x Fantoche our project Doppelgänger by Chris Elvis Leisi will be showcased. Visit the Stanzerei in Baden from 04th to 08th November and interact with your Doppelgänger.

Research associate Florian Bruggisser is participating at this year`s SIGGRAPH conference. He is presenting the IAS`s ongoing project reconFIGURE.
SIGGRAPH is the most prominent conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques.
