Kikk Festival<br>


Martin Fröhlich, senior researcher at the IAS, is part of this year`s Swiss Delegation to the Kikk Festival in Namur, Belgium. Martin is following an invitation of the Science and Academic Councellor for Wallonia-Brussels.

This year`s theme of the Kikk Festival is Boom Boom Tchak, celebrating rhythm in all its forms, from the natural pulse of life to the electrifying beats of electronic music.

23.-26. October 2025, Namur Belgium

System Designer Conference

Sébastien Schiesser, studio technician at the IAS, will attend the System Designer Conference in Vienna from 28. to 29. October. The conference offers in total 44 sessions, covering the topics of Immersive Sound, Artificial Intelligence in Music and Audio,, Acoustics, Technology & Workflow and Humans in Music & Audio.
Sébastien was invited by Yamaha Switzerland as field expert using their technology in the IAS for immersive performances and productions.

REFRESH#6

REFRESH running from 02.-05. October 2025 deals with the intersection of Arts, Design & Technology. Under the theme «Futures of Uncertainties», the sixth edition of the festival – featuring keynotes, exhibitions, masterclasses, screenings and performances – will bring together designers, artists, and researchers from Switzerland and abroad to explore possible futures for design and the arts.

Exhibition Opening!

We are part of the exhibition "Museum of the Future - 17 Experiments". Out project is called Conversations with Puppets and invites visitors to interact and talk to three digitized stick puppets, created by Fred Schneckenburger.

Exhibition opening: 29th August 2025 until 1st February 2026
