24.-26.09.2026, X-Reality Lab Mozarteum, Salzburg
From 24. –26. September, Mozarteum University opens the doors of its newly built X-Reality Lab for the first time, transforming it into a meeting place for creative practice, technological innovation, and interdisciplinary exchange.
The X-Reality Lab is a state of the art room with a sophisticated projector set up, allowing for a CAVE projection combined with a 3d audio system. Like the Immersive Arts Space, the X-Reality Lab offers designers and artists the opportunity to develop immersive projects.
The festival Staging Realities Lab serves as an opening event for the lab and has invited international guests to participate and exchange with academic and industrial partners. The Immersive Arts Space will take part with two current projects: Instructions for Use (XR-Installation, Chris Salter & Oliver Sahli 2026) and Intermediate States (Audio Installation/ Walk, Pascal Lund-Jensen, 2026).
