XR-Intervention at Opernhaus Zürich

The production of Cardillac (based on the novella Das Fräulein von Scuderi by E. T. A. Hoffmann) inspired students of the transversal Minor «Immersive Arts Advanced» to develop their own Extended Realities (XR). They explored storytelling and aesthetics in so-called Mixed Realities, deepening their understanding of Spatial Computing and its impact on their craft and artistic practice.

The XR-installation is on display on 10th March 2026 at the Opernhaus Zürich.
