Seit 1. Juli 2020 können Autorinnen und Autoren, die im Rahmen ihrer Forschungs- und Lehrtätigkeit an der ZHdK wissenschaftliche Artikel verfassen, diese auch in Zeitschriften des Verlags Springer Nature kostenlos Open Access publizieren. Zudem erhalten alle ZHdK-Angehörigen Lesezugang zum Zeitschriftenportfolio von Springer Nature mit über 2’000 E-Journals.
Basis für das Angebot ist der Abschluss einer weiteren Read&Publish-Vereinbarung. Ebenso wie bei den Verhandlungen mit dem Verlag Elsevier zeichnet dafür eine Delegation von swissuniversities in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Konsortium der Schweizer Hochschulbibliotheken verantwortlich. Dies ist ein weiterer Schritt in der Umsetzung der nationalen Open Access-Strategie.

As implied by the word Interfaces rather than Interactions in the title, the journal seeks to illustrate verifiable realisations over purely theoretical musings. The journal focuses on multimodal interfaces developed with an emphasis on user-centric design. Thus, usability and architectural considerations are also key targets. |
