For the Zurich Art Weekend, taking place from 11th-13th November 22, the IAS will open its doors to visitors. The installation”Fragments of a Conversation” will be on display on Saturday, 12th November from 13-17.

Within the NowNet Arts Conference, taking place from 31st October – 4th November 2022 in multiple rooms at the Toni Areal, Osmosis is one event shown from different perspectives: Connected digitally, musicians, performers and objects are synched, even thought they`re physically not at the same place.

Kamituga | Digital Gold will be exhibited from November 3rd to 7th in Berlin during Zurich meets Berlin / Berlin Science Week. A smaller and shorter version of the original exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung will be displayed in the Museum für Naturkunde.
Zurich meets … is a festival showcasing projects from within sciense, technology, design and art originating in Zurich.
On Saturday, September 10th 22 REFRESH X FANTOCHE held a panel discussion examining the opportunities and risks of new digital technologies in game design, film theatre, journalism and the arts in general. Hosted by Maike Thies (Game Design, ZHdK) with Florian Bruggisser (Research Associate IAS), Björn Franke (Visual Comm., ZHdK) and many more.

In this making-of from last semester’s course in Immersive Arts Practices, the different student projects are presented. In the interdisciplinary course students from Theatre, Interaction Design, Art Education etc. developed projects in VR/AR/XR by using motion capture and further technologies supported by the Immersive Arts Space.
